The Annex is a 1200sqft. theater & home for performing artists. Hourly rent is below market rate, with further subsidies + partnerships available to LGBTQ+ BIPOC artists.
Currently, the Annex is closed for public performances, classes & events.
Safety is our guiding star & the Annex team is learning & adjusting every day. During the COVID-19 pandemic, some events are now being streamed virtually. We look forward to hosting you back in our physical space as soon as it is safe to do so.

In April 2011, Joe Goode Performance Group moved into the Joe Goode Annex, a part of Project Artaud in the heart of San Francisco’s lively Mission District.
The Annex houses the JGPG administrative offices, is the primary rehearsal space for Joe Goode Performance Group, and serves as a multipurpose community venue available to rent for classes, workshops, performances, and special events.
