Presented at the Joe Goode Annex, GUSH is a fresh performance platform featuring new and expansive artistic voices with ripe artistic dialogue. GUSH seeks to burst performance bubbles through conversation, interaction and innovative artists sharing their works side-by-side. GUSH aims to create a container for collaboration, learning and growth – artistically and mutually – amongst all the participating artists and, vitally, with the audience.
This year’s festival was collaboratively curated by the 2020 GUSH Artist cohort: Joe Goode, NAKA Dance Theater and GERALDCASELDANCE.
GUSH was made possible through the support of The Bernard Osher Foundation, California Venues Grant, The City and County of San Francisco’s Legacy Business Administration, Fleishhacker Foundation, Grants for the Arts, The Phyllis C. Wattis Foundation, SF Arts Reopening Fund, Shuttered Venues Operating Grant – Small Business Administration, The William & Flora Hewlett Foundation, The Zellerbach Family Foundation
