Are You Okay?–to premiere at the historic Rincon Center in downtown San Francisco–is an immersive, site specific dance theater work that asks how we are managing in a world that is personally and collectively unstable.
In a precarious time when our lives, health, jobs, governments and the technologies that connect us are in constant flux, Are You Okay? proposes that embodied and collaborative creativity is not a privileged luxury, but a critical survival technique.
Are You Okay? is the latest immersive work from Joe Goode, whose installations at such sites as the SF Mint, the Lilienthal-Haas House, Haight-Ashbury, and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, have thrilled San Francisco audiences for more than two decades.
Created and directed in collaboration with Melecio Estrella of Bandaloop, and performed by members of the Joe Goode Performance Group, Are You Okay? is not to be missed.
