The Empty Pocket, created and performed by Heidi Carlsen, is a surreal voyage of a woman and a heirloom peacoat. Through movement, imagery and confronting poetry, a heightened tale is told. By shifting perspectives, crossing the line, and going against the odds, can the silence that binds us be broken? Workshopped in San Francisco, LaMama Theater in New York City, and recently performed at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago.
