Joe Reads a New Chapter from his Upcoming Book on the Creative Process

Last April, Joe read a chapter from a book he’s working on that delves into his artistic process. 50 friends and fans joined us at Clio’s in Oakland for an inspiring and lyrical evocation of making art in the Castro at a time of great promise, but also great fear.

On February 26th, Joe will be reading a new chapter from the book. Please join us at the Haas-Lilienthal House in San Francisco to gain another peek into Joe’s artistic process. You may recognize this location from Joe’s 2018 work Still Standing and we are thrilled to be revisiting this space again for Joe’s reading. Come meet friends, mingle, and hear how Joe went about creating one of his past signature works.
