The Joe Goode Annex Co-Production Program (JGA Co-Pro)
2020 Co-Production artists: Jocelyn Reyes & Jhia Jackson
All public performances at the Annex have been put on hold for COVID-19 safety precautions. Annex staff and artists are exploring virtual streaming options & discussing outdoor performance models.
A small team of us have been putting our heads together to figure out how we can still keep some creative work, JGA support, & collaboration going. We’re excited to share a 3-event series in December: Dance for Supper + Dance for Lunch! A casual creativity check & conversation, hosted by Jhia Jackson & Jocelyn Reyes, about art process & practice. Part podcast-style chat, part happy hour, part lab space. It’s an invitation to gather, learn from each other, and do a little demystifying of our creative lives. Join this intimate dialogue via Zoom meeting format. Jocelyn and Jhia will be hosting and facilitating conversations between: Mojo Deville + Sadie Wilking (12/8), Betty Towers + Erin C. Yen + Stephanie Hewett (12/10), Miguel Gutierrez + Rhae Dawn (12/15). These are artists Jocelyn + Jhia know of, but are curious to learn more about in conversations.
