What should I wear and bring to the workshop?
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring extra warm layers. You will want to bring a water bottle and snacks for shorter breaks. We also ask that you bring a journal for writing exercises and note taking.
Does JGPG provide housing for out-of-town participants?
JGPG does not provide housing at this time. However, past workshop participants have had success renting a room in the neighborhood through www.airbnb.com.
How much dance experience is needed for the workshop?
Movement for Humans, Start Simple, In Cahoots, Inhabit, and Finding the Bones are designed for movers and performers of all levels. Dance and vocal experience is not needed, only a strong interest in movement, voice, and performance. Actors, dancers, writers, directors, singers, and performance artists are strongly encouraged to attend.
JGPG Technique Class and Excavate are designed for the experienced mover and dancer.
