Back by popular demand! Joe Goode Performance Group returns to the
Old Mint with the astounding performance installation Traveling
Light. Staged in the haunting, decadent beauty of the historic San
Francisco Mint, Traveling Light takes the audience on a journey
through the vaults and chambers of the oldest stone building in San
Francisco. Joe Goode is legendary for creating fresh theatrical
experiences that are witty and provocative – filled with layered tales
of humanity and outsiders, told with humor and heart.
San Francisco's Old Mint is currently being restored and repurposed by
the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society and is rarely open to
the public. These performances are a unique opportunity to enjoy an
innovative mashup of athletic dance and close-up theater in this
historic building.
