Role of the Board of Directors
The JGPG Board plays a vital role in supporting the mission of JGPG. Board members are part of the ensemble that makes the Company a success. Many Board members are long-term fans and supporters of Joe’s work and that loyalty helps to draw in additional viewers and contributors to the company.
In its official capacity, the Board of Directors governs and holds fiduciary responsibility for JGPG. The primary means of governance are:

Development & Program Coordinator
Part-time (20-25 hrs/week)
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the Company’s individual giving program. They will help drive, oversee, and coordinate donor and prospect cultivation and stewardship activities, as well as provide daily operational support to program staff.
The position requires a highly motivated self-starter who has a strong interest in supporting the growth of arts and culture and also enjoys working as an integral part of a small team. This position is highly collaborative, working closely with the ED and collaborating often with staff and the Board of Directors.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the performing arts. They will participate in brainstorming creative events and programs, researching, and socializing with dance-lovers. They must be creative and entrepreneurial. This is a great opportunity to support the local dance community, while both having a direct impact on the organization and further developing a career in the Arts.

Ability to work some evenings and weekends is required.
Set hourly compensation rate commensurate with experience. (Non-exempt)
