Role of the Board of Directors
The JGPG Board plays a vital role in supporting the mission of JGPG. Board members are part of the ensemble that makes the Company a success. Many Board members are long-term fans and supporters of Joe’s work and that loyalty helps to draw in additional viewers and contributors to the company.
In its official capacity, the Board of Directors governs and holds fiduciary responsibility for JGPG. The primary means of governance are:

Joe Goode Performance Group is seeking several performers of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds and ages, including trans and non-gender binary artists, with strong skills in singing and movement to perform in a new immersive dance-theater performance installation July 12 – August 5, 2018 (Thursday–Sunday). Performers are expected to be available for all rehearsals and performances.
The performance will be at the Haas-Lilienthal House, a San Francisco historic site. Audiences will be guided through the home to witness up close performers and performances in every room and hallway. The performance will feature original songs written by a selection of notable Bay Area singer-songwriters.
Joe Goode Performance Group has been at the forefront of dance-theater for over 30 years, synthesizing text, song, and humor with deeply physical movement. Led by Artistic Director Joe Goode, the company seeks to open audience’s minds to the limitless potential of where and how performance and movement can be experienced.
Auditions will take place Sunday, December 3, 2017, 4-8pm at the Joe Goode Annex. Performers are asked to prepare one acapella song for the audition and there will also be a brief movement section.
